Zalman Alenick, a beloved husband and father who supported many Jewish and Chabad causes, passed away on Wednesday, 9 Nissan, 5784.
He was 61.
Zalman was born and raised in Crown Heights. He lived in Orange County, NY.
He was a big baal tzedakah, a supporter of Colel Chabad and Chevra Simchas Shabbos V’Yom Tov, and many other mosdos and organizations.
Despite his recent illness, which demanded much of his strength, Zalman’s determination never wavered. He was honored as the guest of honor at this year’s Colel Chabad Gala in New York, using his last reserves of energy to unite friends and family around his most cherished causes: charity and Chesed.
He is survived by his wife Zehava and daughters Randi Hefter and Rebecca Alenick, as well as his siblings.
The levaya will take place today, Wednesday, passing by 770 at 2:30 PM and burial at Old Montefiore Cemetery at 3:45 PM
Baruch Dayan Ha’emes.
Moshiach NOW!
So sad. Such a beautiful way he honored his dear mother. May his memory be for a blessing. Too young.
What a heartwarming video here. BD”H. Besuros Tovos.
Moshiach Now
What a wonderful man. Friend.
He was more of a friend to others.
He gave more than he received. Even to us, his childhood friends. He was there for us much more than we for him.
May he be a merit for the wholr family, really a special neshomo.
I am sooo sooo sorry for your loss.
Your Mother, (Mrs. Alenick ) took care of me when I arrived in CH. She was so aidle & beautiful. We would bake challah – and she had a special special covering she used when she made the bracha.
This beautiful brother. No words. BDE
