This week, as thousands of Chabad Shluchos will be flying into NYC from all over the world for the annual Kinus Hashluchos, one organization took it upon themselves to make a unique impact in the lives of Shluchos.
A new sheitle initiative has been launched by Yad L’Shliach. Shluchos who have needed a sheitle for years, but have been pushing off the purchase due to serious financial hardship – will receive a beautiful sheitle in honor of Chof Beis Shevat.
“To date, nearly 100 requests have come in, and that number grows daily,” says Rabbi Shlomo Friedman, director of the fund.
“As such, it is at this junction that Yadlshliach turns to you asking for your help to accommodate the growing list of personal requests. Please log on, and give generously at Yadlshliach.org/donate.”
Yad L’shliach was founded in 2006 by the Friedman family in memory of their father; Rabbi Yaakov Moshe HaKohen Friedman obm.
The sole purpose of the fund is to help families of Shluchim struggling to provide for their own basic, personal needs.
Please donate now online at Yadlshliach.org/donate.
My mother has not had a new sheitel in years because of financial.hardhsip. Would love if she could get one
I hope they will be included in the lucky ones… they really need a new wig. (So do I, but I’m not a shlucha!) Beautiful initiative.
I received a sheitel from YL last year. This is no gimmick. These people are the real deal. Please help them generously. And hashem should bless them with tremendous success.
I know there is a Moshe working for yad lshliach
I don’t know his last name , but he is doing
One heck of a job.
May he be blessed.
