Rabbi Yochanan and Rochel Gordon and their son Sholom are the new Chabad Shluchim to Tasmania, an Australian island and state that is promoted as the “Island of Inspiration.”
They will be moving from Crown Heights to Launceston to serve the needs of the local Jewish community and the many tourists of Tasmania.
They were appointed by Rabbi Yossi Gordon and Rabbi Yossel Gutnick of Melbourne.
