Young Shluchim who participate in the MyShliach Ach Sheli – “big brother” program met with their mentors for a special program on Thursday.
The boys, who were in Crown Heights from around the globe to participate in the Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchim camp, got to spend time in person with their long-distance mentors.
The bochurim mentors volunteer their time once a week to learn, farbreng and talk with these young Shluchim over the phone, helping the children in remote locations to maintain and strengthen their Yiddishe and Chassidishe values.
The boys learned together with the bochurim and enjoyed a program and fabrengen afterwards.
MyShliach, a project of Merkos Suite 302, coordinates regional shabbatons, the Yaldei Hashluchim Book Library, online farbrengens, surprise nosh packages and other programs for the well-being of shluchim’s children.
beautiful nice keep up the good work keep on learning
go avromi, mendel, yossi, and tzvi!!
Kids in crown heights have many options. You can hire a (bochur) tutor, you can send him to Yeshivas Erev, he can go to his friends house to do homework together etc. Etc…
Best boy in Lubavitch!!
Kids in crown heights would also immensely benefit from having such a set up.
It’s a big job, but we need it too.
Go merkos 302 and the shluchim office for the wonderful kinus
