On Motzei Shabbos the Yeshiva Centre – Chabad headquarters of NSW under the auspices of Shliach Rabbi Pinchus Feldman, organized a special Melavah Malkah gathering for the Shluchim of NSW and the ACT with guest speaker Rabbi Shmuel Lew.
The London-based Rabbi Lew, a sought- after spiritual mentor and educator, spoke about how he has spent a great deal of time in the last few years dealing with Chabad teenagers at risk and addressing shluchim and Chabad communities about the very serious challenges that we face.
Rabbi Lew stressed that regardless of the shluchim’s responsibilities to their shlichus, the education and welfare of our own Chabad children need an equal amount of attention, giving practical advice on dealing with challenges.
While in Sydney, Rabbi Lew will be speaking to local Chabad teenagers, both boys and girls.
The event was hosted by Rabbi and Mrs. Berger of Double Bay Chabad.
