Update:
Baruch Hashem, all the funds have been raised. Thank you to all who have donated.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As Jews around the world are preparing for the festive holiday of Pesach, 4 Shluchim from two countries are working to raise $22,000 in order to arrange a Jewish burial for a young Jewish man who tragically died suddenly overseas. Funds are needed to transfer the Meis from Asia back to the U.S where he will have a Kosher burial.
Head Shliach to Beijing, China, Rabbi Shimon Freundlich is working to raise $16,000 over the next 24 hours in order to bring Meis Mitzvah (31 years old) from China to the US, in time for a Jewish burial before Pesach begins.
Please open your hearts to this time-sensitive request so that the Meis does not have to wait till after Pesach for a proper Jewish burial.
