An event marking the Shloshim – 30 days since the passing, of Mrs. Faigy Bassman, from Chicago, Illinois, will be held on Sunday, Rosh Chodesh Elul, August 8, in Chicago, IL and will be streamed live around the world.
Faigy, a beloved mother and grandmother, was a pillar of the Chicago Chabad community for decades, known for her phenomenal healthy culinary skills and for having a warm and open home.
The event for both women and men will take place tonight at Congregation Bnei Reuven, 6350 N. Whipple Street, Chicago, at 7:30 PM/8:30 PM ET.
Among the speakers will be Rabbi Manis Friedman, a lifelong mentor of Faigy obm.
The event will stream live on Zoom for those who wish to participate from around the world.
