After a lengthy pre-Shlichus Farbrengen, Rabbi Sternberg, accompanied by a group from Shiur Daled, traveled early this morning to the Ohel, bringing the list of the Talmidei Hashluchim to the Rebbe. Thus transforming the Shiur Daled Bochurim into Shluchim of the Rebbe.
Later this morning in Yeshiva, the formal Shiluchs announcement was accepted with great joy, causing lively singing to erupt, and ultimately, the entire Yeshiva was on their feet dancing. This day will forever be remembered by the Bochurim as the day they merited to be chosen as the Rebbe’s Shluchim.
The Talmidei Hashluchim will devote their year to enhance the learning and Chassidishkeit at Yeshivos around the globe, including: Yeshivah Gedolah – Melbourne, Australia; Yeshiva Mayan Torah of Pomona; Beis Dovid Shlomo New Haven – Mesivta; Mesivta Lubavitch of Thornhill Toronto; Cheder Levi Yitzchok Melbourne; Torah Our – Florida; Chovevei Torah Zal and the Kingston Mesivta. More locations to be announced in the near future.
Remember that even those who don’t get “official” Shlichus can be amazing Shluchim somewhere. There are so many Shluchim that need help, or be the Rebbe’s Shliach wherever you are.
That is definitely correct
Those who didn’t get”official” shlichus should use there time to help make the world a better place.
Smicha or marriage might be as great option as well
But let’s remember as well …. The only shlichus of the Rebbe that exists for bochorim is when you strengthen a Yeshiva or community and dedicate your time to limud hatorah and to create an atmosphere with a daily seder.
