The Smile On Seniors network in Phoenix, Arizona, held its monthly “It’s Not Just Lunch,” with a lecture titled “Talking to Aliens; Communicating with your children and grandchildren” by therapist Dvora Entin.
One of the things she told the crowd gathered at Chabad of Arizona was that if they want to get along, it’s not just on the second generation to try to call the grandmother, but also on the grandparents to understand the younger generation.
“This will help strengthen communication,” said Entin, coordinator for the Aleinu program of the Jewish Family & Children’s Service in Phoenix.
After the talk, one participant Arlene Cleet told the Shliach Rabbi Levi Levertov she never took a selfie.
“Let’s do one now,” he replied.
She agreed and 3 of her friends asked to join and “be in the selfie too”: Selma Sardoff, Rosida Watson and Sheila Ginis.
