Kol Menachem has inspired the Jewish world with the outstandingly successful Gutnick Chumash, Megillas Esther, and Benjamin Franklin award-winning Haggadah. Kol Menachem is now ready for a new venture – no less ambitious than to revolutionize the way people are saying Tehillim (Psalms) by drawing on the volumes of insights from the Lubavitcher Rebbe on Tehillim that have never before been published in English.
Noted Kol Menachem author and scholar Rabbi Chaim Miller shares, “So many Jews today feel a deep sense of alienation from the core texts of our religion. The Schottenstein Edition of Tehillim will offer intellectual stimulation, spiritual nourishment and a level of insight which is acutely relevant to everyday life. I personally love the Psalms and my passion is going to be felt in this book.”
The Tehillim is being dedicated by Tuvia and Lea Schottenstein in memory of Uncle Saul Schottenstein; by David and Eda Schottenstein in memory of the holy and precious soul of Alta Shula Swerdlov and in memory of their beloved grandparents Mordechai and Rivka Sirota and Tzvi Hirsch and Necha Zobin; and by Aryeh and Raizy Schottenstein in memory of their beloved grandparents Berel and Miriam Weiss. All three families are joining to dedicate the sefer in memory of their beloved parents and grandparents Leon and Jean Schottenstein, Meir Avner Levy, and in honor of their grandmother Flory Levy.
“We are humbled and honored by the opportunity to participate in the publication of the Kol Menachem Tehillim. It is our hope that the accompanying Toras Menachem commentary, culled from our Rebbe’s wealth of teachings, will inspire people to not only read the Tehillim but to learn it, internalize it, and live it,” said the Schottenstein family.
