He was makir tov – he mentioned it to me several times. He used to come to listen to farbrengens when he lived on S. John’s Pl. in the 50’s

I have been to several non-Lubav weddings when they used the Alter Rebbe’s Niggun for the march to Chuppah.

His life was saved by Lubavitchers during the Holocaust. I think Reb Mendel was involved (maybe L. Mockin). Was he Makir Tov ?
