Rising Star Berel Faiden Releases Debut Single ‘Emadi’

Emerging from the heart of Crown Heights, a new voice is making waves in the world of Jewish music. Berel Faiden, a 24-year-old singer, recently unveiled his debut single, “Emadi,” marking a significant milestone in his musical career.

Born and raised in Morristown, NJ, Berel has been making waves professionally in the music scene for the past two years. The release of “Emadi” starts an artistic journey and marks the beginning of what he hopes will be many more releases. Recently settling in Crown Heights with his new wife, Chani, Berel finds inspiration in the vibrant community. Reflecting on a notable performance this year, Berel recalls singing at the Kinus Hashluchim. “That was an exciting moment, being able to sing in front of so many special Chassidim,” he shares, highlighting the joyous experiences that have shaped his musical journey.

“Emadi,” composed by Yitzy Waldner, features a team of talented musicians, including Ravid Kashti for music production and arrangement, Noam ‘Hargol’ Burg on guitars, Rafi Greidi on piano, and Rafi Greidi and Ravid Kashti on keyboards. The track was expertly mixed and mastered by Ravid Kashti, creating a harmonious blend of melody and lyrics.

Yitzy Waldner, the composer of the song, expresses his surprise at Berel’s vocal talent. “I was pleasantly surprised when Berel started singing in my studio. His voice is so sweet and beautiful. We wrote the perfect song to match his smooth voice; when we sat down, as soon as we started composing we wrote something that really just came along so naturally and fit perfectly to him.”

Berel himself sheds light on the deeper meaning behind “Emadi.” He shares, “The world is filled with challenges, and sometimes we find ourselves and Am Yisrael in dark moments, but this song and the lyrics are a reminder that no matter where we are, or what is happening around us, Hashem is always with us!”
