Rina Polter, a beloved young wife and mother from Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday night, 14 Kislev, 5786.
She was 33.
Rina (nee Roumani) grew up in Crown Heights. She ran a playgroup in Crown Heights for many years, and she was dedicated and devoted to the Chinuch of the children in her care.
For the past 6 years, Rina and her husband Levi lived in the Chabad community in Atlanta, Georgia, and she was a devoted wife and mother to her 3 children, the youngest just 6 months old.
She was known as a kind and sweet person, who always had a smile on her face, and everything she did was with her whole heart.
In the past few days, she suffered a stroke, and on Wednesday night, she tragically passed away.
She is survived by her husband Levi Polter and 3 children, Aryeh, Zac and Sophia.
She is also survived by her parents, Shimon and Margula Roumani of Crown Heights, and siblings, Eliezer Roumani – S Paulo, Brazil, Chaya Kapeluchnik – Inverrary, Florida, Tzivia Gottlieb – Hallandale, Florida, Sarah Avtzon – Crown Heights, Pinchas Roumani and Gittel Roumani – Crown Heights.
She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Dovid and Michlah Polter of Crown Heights.
The Levaya will take place on Friday at Arlington Memorial Park

Shiva in Crown Heights will take place at 1350 Carroll St
on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

I am shocked to read of this tragedy. I am so sorry, may this beautiful neshama be a gutteh bettern for everyone who knew and loved her. My heart goes out to her husband, parents and children.
