Revolutionary Chassidus Program Launches Women’s-Only Track

Since the time of the Baal Shem Tov, who began revealing the inner dimension of Torah to the everyday Jew, Chassidus—once reserved for the few—has become a lifeline for Jews around the world. In letter after letter, sicha after sicha, the Rebbe urged both men and women to study its teachings, to internalize its timeless wisdom as a guide for life—shaping thought, refining emotion, and directing action.

“It is obvious that women are obligated to study Chassidus. It is only by learning Chassidus that one can properly fulfill the constant mitzvos of Ahavas Hashem and Yiras Hashem,” the Rebbe said in 5748. In a now-famous Yechidus, the Rebbe instructed Mrs. Rochel Farkash clearly: “It is therefore your duty to publicize this, in a resolute manner—that women are obligated to study Chassidus!” 

Now, Kolel L’lomdei Dach at Merkos 302 is taking that vision one step further.

Starting after Pesach, Dach L’Noshim—the new women’s track—will make deep, structured Chassidus learning more accessible than ever. With a carefully designed curriculum and world-class educators, the program offers something long-awaited: a framework for serious limmud that fits into women’s lives and brings Chassidus into their day-to-day lives.

The idea, first introduced by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky OBM and officially announced as a Hachalata of the Kinus Hashluchos this year by Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, who has stepped into his father’s role at Chabad Headquarters, sparked immediate interest. “For years, women have been seeking a way to really learn Chassidus,” Kotlarsky said. “Embracing their roles as matriarchs of thriving Jewish families and Jewish leaders, this program allows them to remain anchored in the Rebbeim’s teachings.”

Dach L’Noshim is not a course, nor a class, nor just a PDF of a ma’amar. It’s a holistic experience, built from the ground up for the unique rhythm of a woman’s life. One hour a week of focused learning is paired with two shorter sessions, each around thirty minutes. The structure is simple, consistent, and designed to be sustainable.

Each learning cycle spans nine weeks, centered around a single topic. That topic is explored through three maamarim—each taught over three weeks—with a progression that moves from conceptual understanding to personal application. The flow is intentional: two weeks of guided learning followed by a week of chazzarah and integration.

The teaching team brings depth and dimension from every angle. Mrs. Fruma Schapiro of Bais Chana High School in Los Angeles will teach the opening maamar. Rabbi Yosef Klyne, Rosh Kolel of Kolel L’lomdei Dach, will break down a core topic with focused, in-depth shiurim. Rabbi Yitzchok Kaufmann of Mayanot will give a class during the chazarah week to help learners internalize the topic learned and bring it into everyday life. Mrs. Shterna Ginsberg, Shlucha and author of Your Awesome Self, will conclude each cycle with a farbrengen on the topic, using her ability to offer practical ways to integrate the teachings into everyday life. The program also includes special Farbrengens for Yoma D’pagra exclusive to members of the Dach Lnoshim community.

“They themselves need to learn the sichos and spread Chassidus to other Jewish women, influencing their husbands and children as well, creating a true Chassidishe home, said the Rebbe in 5750.

The content is rich, but never overwhelming. All sources are translated, summarized, and introduced with clarity, removing the guesswork and making the material approachable without sacrificing depth. As Mrs. Shani Paltiel, Dach Lnoshim program coordinator and Shlucha in Manhasset, NY, explains, “This isn’t simply about listening to a class. It’s about developing a relationship with the material. Understanding it deeply. Letting it shape how we think, how we live, and how we show up in our homes and communities. We designed this program to support real growth while honoring the reality of a woman’s day. You can be immersed in Chassidus and still be present for your family. You can do both—and this program shows how.”

Already, more than 50 women have enrolled for the upcoming launch.

“The Rebbe empowered women to step into their role as builders of their families, their communities, and the world,” says Shani. “But to do that, we have to be filled ourselves. In today’s world, with all its distractions and demands, we can’t run on empty. We need to reconnect to the fire of Chassidus. This program is about giving women that fire—not just to teach it, but to live it.”
