Rabbi Avrohom Eliyahu and Chasya Naymark, a retired Chabad couple from the Israeli city of Lod, recently broke the news to their family about their new venture:
Shlichus in Hanover, Germany.
The couple, who have been working as educators and raised a family among whom are Shluchim, will be helping in running the Chabad Jewish Center there.
They will be operating under the leadership of Shlucha Mrs. Shterna Wolff who bravely decided to continue her service to the local Jewish community after the tragic passing of her husband Rabbi Benny Wolff OBM.
Community members rallied around Chabad in Hanover since the passing as Mrs. Wolff and her children ensured that the shul, school, classes and programs continue operating.
Just this week, the Chabad center hosted a Bris Milah ceremony for a young man named David Gabriel. “We wish him and the whole family good luck and may he grow into the Torah, Chuppa and good deeds,” they said.
Rabbi Zushe Naymark, a Shliach in Cyprus, said he is deeply inspired by his parents taking on a new role in their lives.
“Shlichus doesn’t end, Shlichus intensifies,” he wrote. “And when the Rebbe is the one sending you, the age is irrelevant.”
COLlive.com has learned that the Naymark couple, originating from the former Soviet Union, will be focusing on outreach to the Russian-speaking Jewish population in the city, alongside general activities.
In a statement, Mrs. Wolff said the “Naymark family are long-time friends of the Wolff family and the Greenberg family” and bring “many years of experience in education and community work.”

Something for ALL retirees to consider!
Usually retirees can get by with smaller incomes and have pensions or an egg nest, so no financial pressure of heavy fund-raising.
They can go to places where there is no chinuch or mikvah!
They have life experience and bring maturity and appearance of zoken (elderly).
They gain by giving their life purpose and meaning. Their mind is used and they become youthful!
EVERY retiree should consider this!!!
Sell your house for the fortune it is worth. Relocate to a place with affordable housing and spread yiddishkeit where others hesitate to go!!!!
Great with Mazel they should be very successful.
