Dr. Zev Zelenko, a doctor who gained fame in recent months after publicizing what he touted as a cure for COVID 19, is undergoing emergency heart surgery tonight.
Dr. Zelenko, a doctor with a family practice in Monroe, NY, claimed that a combination of drugs has saved many of his patients from hospitalization after testing positive for coronavirus.
A video he made about the drug regimen was widely shared on social media, and the cure was later touted by President Donald Trump.
On Thursday, Dr. Zelenko tweeted that he needs emergency heart surgery, “but will continue to fight until the war against tyranny is won.”
His son Yitzy Zelenko released a video, saying that his father needs heart surgery, and that he had major surgery two years ago. “I don’t know if this is connected to this, but my father needs tefillos,” Yitzy Zelenko said.
“With the work he is doing, he merits the biggest refuah the world has ever seen, because of all the lives he saved,” Yitzy Zelenko says about his father. “We need his refuah in order for him to keep saving lives. So please say kapitel 47, and please do Mitzvos for the sake of his recovery,” he asks.
The public is asked to say Tehillim for Zev ben Leah, kapitel 47.
