A special way to receive the Torah.
Cheder Lubavitch of Morristown is organizing “Shavuos at Bushkill” that will combine high standard meals and accommodations with an inspiring program to celebrate the giving of the Torah.
The retreat will take place at the Bushkill Inn & Conference Center, a world class resort facility located in picturesque Bushkill, PA. This luxury resort is located a 90 minute drive from Brooklyn and 90 minutes from Monsey, NY. It offers indoor heated separate swimming, private guest rooms, outdoor suites and chalets.
During Yom Tov, guests can daven peacefully in a Chabad minyan, while the children have their own supervised children’s minyan with age-appropriate engaging activities. There will be yom tov oriented activities for children as well.
Throughout Yom Tov adults will be able to join in all-night learning, shiurim, and farbrengens with Chabad rabbis, including Rabbi Zalman Leib Markowitz, an educational consultant and mentor whose pedagogical approach is to create a loving classroom environment and inspiring positive reinforcement.
Rabbi Markowitz will lead workshops and discussions on shidduchim, chinuch and parenting. He will also be available for private consultations.
Greenwald Caterers will head a team of expert chefs in preparing cuisine to please every palate, under strict Lubavitch hashgacha.
Organizers say “Shavuos at Bushkill” will offer an escape from everyday life and an opportunity to daven, be inspired by shiurim and workshops, and connect with the true meaning of Shavuos.
The 24 hour tea room, gourmet meals, shiurim and day camp are icing on the cheese cake that wouldn’t hurt either…

Please call or email.
Please Post if Lubavitch hashgacha means Lubavitch Shechita. It would be very helpfull if we can have the name of the person in charge, Pricing, when you write Lubavitch minyan dose that mean there will be other groups there as well. Looking Forward
Can someone post something about pricing, would be super beneficial for all of those who are somewhat interested
i have the same Q
I had no plans of going away for Shavuot but I need the help of Rabbi Markowitz with my son and this is a great opportunity
Need pricing and Shabbos included?
I want a name of a person in charge?
Thank you
This must be what it means when we say “Kabolas hatoira bsimcha uv’pnimius.
such as price and reservations. i know it says to call – im seriously thinking of going – but it would make things a lot clearer to have it all posted
This is such a fantastic idea. I will certainly speak to some friends so we could all go together as a group.
The place looks gorgeous and I am sure the food will be great. (cheesecake?)
