Refael Shmuel Badichi, a young boy from Israel who lived in Crown Heights for the past year and a half, passed away on Sunday, Iyar 11, 5777.
He was 6 years old and had been battling a terrible illness.
Refael Shmuel, who lived in Beitar Illit, Israel, with his family, relocated to Crown Heights for the past year and half along with his parents, Eliyahu and Orit Badichi, while undergoing treatment.
Refael Shmuel’s beautiful, radiant smile and positive outlook, even through many challenges and much suffering, inspired all those around him.
Many around the world united in saying Tehillim for him, but sadly he passed away today.
The levaya will take place tomorrow, Monday, passing by 770 at 2:45 pm, on the way to burial in Israel. (The levaya will not be in Shomrei Hadas)
Baruch Dayan Ha’emes.

It is so painful to read about a little angel passing away. May we merit Moshiach, the return of Rafael Shmuel to the arms of his parents, and the end of such extreme pain.
NO! :'( My heart shattered when I read this. RIP to this brave little solider. <3 <3 <3
Sweetest, dearest yingel. I keep his photograph next to the Rebbe’s near where I bentsch licht. Just prayed for him in shma kolainu. Brokenhearted. Never can be replaced. He just MUST come back with Moshiach immediately!
