what is the difference between what appears to be real trauman versus real trauma
Trauma varies by person and event. One can’t decide whether another person’s trauma is real or perceived. Your question indicates the belief that a person can decide whether or not another person’s trauma is real or perceived. That’s a false premise. Trauma is trauma wether you agree with someone else’s interpretation of that trauma is irrelevant.
Understanding this, is step 1 in helping a family or friend begin their healing journey.
