Reb Moshe Lemberger, a Holocaust survivor who was on Schindler’s List, passed away this Sunday in Jerusalem, Israel.
He was 92.
Born in Krakow, Poland, R’ Moshe was 14 years old when WW ll broke out and was the only survivor of his family. A banker and longtime resident of Vienna, Austria and a pillar of the Vienna Juedisches Kehilla, R’ Moshe was beloved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Tirza – Vienna, Austria, and children: Towa Hollander, Raanana, Israel, Zwiya Borenstein, Nof Ayalon, Israel, Miriam Gross, Los Angeles/New York, Nomi Schoenberg, Jerusalem, Israel, Zilla Friedman, Elazar, Israel, Yaakov Lemberger, London, England, Rachel Glasser, Jerusalem, Israel, Efraim Lemberger, Pomona, NY, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
