Reb Aaron Leib HaKohen Duchan, a father and grandfather from Cincinnati, passed away on Shabbos 9 Kislev, in Israel.
He was 77.
Originally from Oak Park, Michigan, he later moved to Israel.
Rabbi Duchan was an active member of the Chabad community in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was predeceased by his wife Rachel obm.

The levaya will take place Sunday, 10 Kislev, at the Netanya Cemetery.
The family will begin sitting shiva in Herzliya and will then continue in their respective homes.

I was lucky to get to know Aaron over the past few years. He was a brilliant man, with a sharp sense of humor. I also met him a number of times in person when he came to visit his children in the NY area. He went through a lot in life and suffered greatly towards the end. He will be truly missed.
