An evening for men to benefit the RCCS organization, which assists cancer patients, was held in Crown Heights on Wednesday.
Residents gathered at the home of Binyamin and Cherry Levin in support of the organization which cares for the critically ill in our community, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Participants heard words of inspiration by Rabbi Yaacov Barber, viewed a special video presentation on the work of RCCS, and enjoyed a sushi bar and fresh pizza station.
During the event, the organization’s fundraising goal of $80,000 was surpassed, reaching $85,364.
Rabbi Moshe Klein, Crown Heights Director of RCCS for the past 16 years, related that the organization is today dealing with the highest ever number of active patients.
The fundraising goal has been raised to $100,000 to enable the organization to continue its critical work.
The event was hosted by Crown Heights Liaison Rabbi Moshe Klein and committee Moshe Kops, Moshe Pinson, Yoni Raskin, Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald, Avi Webb, and Mendy Wilhelm.
You can still donate and help RCCS in their life-saving work.
