Rabbi Moshe Wolfson, renowned Rav and Gaon, Mashgiach Ruchni of Yeshiva Torah Voda’as and Rav of Congregation Emunas Yisroel in Boro Park, Brooklyn, marked his 90th Birthday with a Farbrengen at the yeshiva Gedolah of Greater Miami.
The farbrengen opened with Chassidishe Nigunum. Rabbi Wolfson then explained –in his unique style – the great importance of gratitude, thanking Hashem for everything Hashem does for us – even the most minor.
He tied this concept to the “Modeh Ani” of every Jew, which is connected to a Jew’s essence.
Rabbi Wolfson then requested that Rabbi Ahron Kovetz – who is Rabbi Wolfson’s personal attendant and disciple for close to 30 years – to share some stories about Rabbi Wolfson’s personal connection to the Rebbe. He also shared episodes – to which he was witness first hand – where Rabbi Wolfson experienced open miracles from the Rebbe.
Rabbi Leib Schapiro – Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Gedolah, and Rabbi Avrohom Korf – Head Shliach to the state of Florida, both shared words of Torah, and thanked Rabbi Wolfsohn for gracing the Yeshivah by coming to celebrate this auspicious birthday with those present, and for sharing his words of inspiration.
Noted community leader Mr. Avi Shaulson shared words of Brochoh, and elaborated on Rabbi Wolfson’s special connection with the Rebbe.
The Farbrengen greatly inspired the students at the Yeshiva, with each one renewing his commitment to Hiskashrus to the Rebbe, strengthening their Avoda in Davening, Torah study and Yiras Shomayim.
PLEASE
