Rabbi Zvi Lider, a prominent member of Chabad of Lod, Israel, passed away on 15 Cheshvan, 5778.
He was 65 and had been battling a terrible illness.
Rabbi Lider was a baal chesed, a prominent member of the community, who was known for his many charitable acts.
After being diagnosed with a terrible illness a few months ago, he traveled to Houston, Texas for treatment.
On Friday he was in New York to travel back to Israel, but he couldn’t continue his trip due to his condition.
He passed away this Shabbos in New York.
He is survived by his wife Rochel and children Dubi Lider, Elad, Israel, Yossi Lider, Crown Heights, Dovid Lider, Melbourne, Australia, Shneur, Beitar Ilit, Israel, Shauli Lider, Kfar Chabad, Moishy, Rishon Letzion, Israel, Chani Krishevsky, Lod, Israel and Shira Litzman, Nachalas Har Chabad, Israel.
He is also survived by his siblings, Shlomo Lider – Williamsburg, NY, Yaakov Lider – Melbourne, Avrohom Lider – Crown Heights, Nechama Brichter – Jerusalem, Malka Kaplan – Jerusalem, Israel, Yehuda Lider – Jerusalem.
The levaya in NY will pass by 770 tomorrow, Sunday at 2:00 pm on the way to burial in Israel.

Reb Tzvi loved chazanus . He was the chazan for rosh hashona and yom kippur in Lod israel.
Very buetiful heart feeling chazan.
He suddenly got sick ,and than from then on suffered tremendously with the machla.
So much tzar he had and the family dealing with this.
May hashem fill the void in their hearts with simcha and arichas yomim shonim tovos.
he was a really big chosid, he had so much Ahavas yisroel and we can all learn from him

What a tzaddik he must have been because i know one of his sons who is my sons rosh yeshiva in beit shemesh .my son wanted to come home for this past shabbos which was not his shabbos off rabbi lider said if its important for u to be at home then go. he knew what my son needed only simchos
