Rabbi Yehuda Shomer, a beloved father and member of the Pittsburgh Chabad community, passed away on Wednesday, 29 Adar, 5783.
He was 32.
Rabbi Shomer was a teacher who was passionate about education.
He is survived by his 2 daughters.
He is also survived by his parents, Moshe Shomer – Milford, CT and Rivka Shomer – Toronto, and siblings, Avrami Shomer – Toronto, Faigy Chapley – Cleveland, OH, Yisroel Shomer – Las Vegas, NV, Shalom Shomer – Detroit, MI, Yossi Shomer – Brooklyn, NY, Chaim Shomer – Toronto, Dovid Shomer – Toronto, Eli Shomer – Cleveland, OH.
The Levaya will take place today, Thursday, passing by 770 at 12:15 pm, with burial at 1:00 pm.

Bsd BDE. My deepest condolences to his family. I am in shock. We spent wonderful times on pesach in Kingston pa . with my daughter devorah and son in law yossi Schulman. I feel like I lost a brother. May they and klal yisroel know only simchas and nachas. Moshiach now!!!

He was a wonderful shliach in a La, he used to give tanya shiur there and i used to come, i would often have warm chadidishe conversations with him, he will be sorely missed..
