Rabbi Yaakov Shpringer, one of the elder Chassidim of Kfar Chabad, Israel, passed away on Friday.
One of the first residents of the Kfar Chabad village, Rabbi Shpringer was known as a Yiras Shomayim and learned Torah scholar.
He passed away at Tel Hashomer hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Shpringer, and sons Rabbi Chaim Shpringer and Rabbi Naftoli Shpringer of Naharia.
He is also survived by his brothers Rabbi Yechezkel Shpringer of Kfar Chabad and Rabbi Yitzchok Shpringer of Crown Heights.
The levaya took place in Israel.
Rabbi Yitzchok Shpringer of Crown Heights is sitting Shiva at his home, 802 Eastern Parkway, until Friday morning.
