What a coup to have Norman Atkins customize his expertise to meet our communities’ unique needs! To #5: The teacher and principal training that MEF is facilitating has the potential to bring the changes we all want for our children and teachers in Chabad mosdos. Hatzlacha Rabbah to Zalman Schneur and everyone involved!

Any reason that Mr Atkins or similarly successful charter school operators can open a partial day charter school for the CH community that would create the learning culture and high student/teacher expectations that would be transferable to the kodesh part of the day as well????

Thank you COL for publishing this article. Instead of encouaraging people to just complain about the problems in the educational system, it is very refreshing and inspiring to read about some of the very good things people are doing to change that.

Great points. Not everyone who knows how to read should become a teacher. Go to shul and look how some of the teachers behave on Shabbos and think if you want this person to be your son’s teacher.Principles this article is for you!
