Rabbi Popack Tzk”l was my 6th grade Rebbi in HAFTR over 30 years ago. When my friends and I found out he was niftar , we could not stop singing his praises as a mechanech. He was an expert mechanech , using all types of tricks of the trade to get us all to buy in to what he was offering. He introduced us to Gemara and laid a most amazing foundation for all of us as he reinforced the most important skills, words, and concepts to learning the Gemara.
