Rabbi Shmuel Baruch Haviv, a member of the Chabad community in Tzfas, Israel, was killed Thursday in a horrific car accident on Highway 8900 near Tzfas.
Haviv dedicated his life to the Rebbe’s Shlichus activities and Ahavas Yisrael. He was one of the most prominent activists in doing Mivtzoim in the northern kibbutzim.
He left behind his wife Dina and infant son, both of whom were injured in the terrible accident and are in need of prayers and G-d’s mercy.

He is also survived by his father Rabbi Yitzchak Haviv from Jerusalem and his siblings Rabbi Shneur Haviv from Elad, Rabbi Mendi Haviv from Kfar Chabad and Nechami Peyson from Chicago.
The levaya will take place tomorrow, Friday, 20th of Nissan, at 9:30 AM from the Heichal Levi Yitzhak synagogue in Tzfas, where he will be buried.
