We should only know from Simchas together with us, and Kelal Yisroel,
I remember shopping in his store for Pesach shortly after giving birth. He was worried about how I would manage with all the cooking and invited us to join his family for yom tov. Such a kind sweet gesture… We managed BH but I’ll never forget how much he cared.

Reb Mendy was a giant of a man, a great human being and a wonderful friend to so many.
May his Mishpacha find comfort in knowing that all the world loved this man.
I spoke with people in Boro-Park this morning – everyone is in shock and loved R’ Mendy.
His classmates have the highest respect for him. His life was to help people.
He ran for public office so that he could assist those who are not represented. He did not run for office for respect. He got respect!
AD MOSAI – MOSHIACH NOW!

Mendy was a genuine, loving, GD fearing person with a huge heart and a beautiful, loving personality. I knew him and I loved him….and I don’t like most of the people I grew up with in Crown Heights. May his pure and precious soul enjoy the Peace and serenity that he earned. May GD comfort his family. May Moshiach arrive immediately so that we can all be reunited in world free of heartache and strife.
