The special learning programs in 770 and at the Ohel for the Tishrei guests have begun. All of the guests’ needs are cared for by the Va’ad Talmidei Hatmimim.
“Tishrei with the Rebbe” has begun with learning Sedarim in Nigleh and Chassidus, Shiurim about Inyanei Moshiach U’Geulah, Farbrengens and other special programs have contributed to the special atmosphere among the hundreds of guests during their first day in Crown Heights.
The hundreds of guests have diligently utilized the learning Sedarim that have been scheduled by the Yeshiva Hanhala, and have participated in Shiurim on the study material delivered by Magidei Shiur that have been specially appointed by the Hanhala of each Yeshiva.
As a preparation, these temporary magidei shiur were treated to a talk with Rabbi Yoel Kahn, the Rebbe’s head choizer and Mashpia of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch – 770.
A central Shiur in Inyanei Moshiach U’Geula, was delivered by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Katzman and enthusiastically attended by dozens of the guests.
In addition to the regular learning Sedarim, the guests are being treated to a wide range of special programs, including rare video footage from Tishrei with the Rebbe in previous years provided by JEM Media.
The first day of programming was concluded with a special Farbrengen led by Rabbi Yisrael Deren, the Shliach in Stamford, Connecticut. Rabbi Deren enthralled the guests well into the night, encouraging them to utilize the month for spuiritual growth.
In addition, specially subsidized transportation to the Ohel is being offered by the Va’ad, and has already been used by over 100 guests.
A true chosid
its not so easy trust me
american bochurim know classmates, from this yeshiva, from another yeshiva from capms, etc , etc, and can easier arrange
Go Katzman!
Can something be organized for the English speaking bochurim in American yeshivas, who would like to be by the Rebbe for Tishrei?! Why is there no organized programming for this demographic? – There are plenty of bochurim from Australia, south Africa, England, California, Florida, Canada, – who make up a huge portion of the guests for Tishrei, who don’t have shiurim/farbrengens/meals/sleeping arrangements organized for them. Why should these bochurim fall through the cracks? Forgive me if I’m wrong, but I get the impression that only the Israeli bochurim are really being catered for.
