R’ Tzvi Schachter, a beloved member of the Florida Chabad community, passed away on Shabbos, Beis Elul 5780.
He was 65.
Tzvi was the owner of the Miami Beach Chocolate shop in Miami, and was an active member in the community. He was a chossid and member of the Chabad community in Hollywood, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rachael Schachter – Hollywood, Florida, and children Mordechai Schachter – Toronto, Canada, Eli Schachter – Hollywood, Florida, Ariella Ives – Hollywood, Florida, Goldie Silverman Hollywood, Florida and Nechama Cohen – Hollywood, Florida and grandchildren.

Baruch Dayan HaEmet. Tzvi was such a charismatic, caring mensch of a man. Such a loving husband and father. I met him and his family about a year ago and they treated me like family. May Hashem watch over his dear wife and their children and spare them from further sorrow!

Tzvi was a man who loved his whole life to give others. Always a kind word, a favor, a gesture to someone in need. He was someone who you could count on to help those in their moment of need and continue way beyond . He would deliver chocolates every shabbos to a family with children who lost their mother for YEARS after the fact. He would donate his time money and energy to further the Rebbes goals. Tzvi, such a lively, caring and kind person, always a nice word to anyone he would come In contact with. We need more people like Tzvi in this world. He was a true mensch and loved people for who they were.

Very special man very special family. I taught his 2 boys in Hebrew Academy and was always impressed by their Middos , which I quickly learned came from their parents and chinuch at home.
I was shocked to hear. Tzvi had a young heart and was Lebadik. He was a tremendous Mentch.
