R’ Ezra Nagar, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday night, 7 Tammuz, 5779.
He was 62.
Ezra and his family moved to Crown Heights from Tzfat, Israel approximately 30 years ago. He was devoted to Yiddishkeit, his family, and to helping others.
He is survived by his wife, Leah, children: Menachem Nagar, Yael Brummel, Shulamis Pellin, Sholomke Nagar, Mushky Borenstein, Yossi Nagar, and Shneur Nagar, all of Crown Heights, and many grandchildren.
The Levaya will take place tonight, Wednesday, passing 770 at 7 pm, to burial in Petach Tikvah, Israel.
The Levaya in Israel will take place Thursday at 8 pm at the Segulah Funeral Home in Petach Tikvah, Israel.
The family will be sitting shiva through Sunday at 9 Rechov Hatzvi, Bnei Brak.
