Lag B’omer was celebrated in Denmark in the best of Danish and Chabad tradition.
Some 500 people gathered at Faelledparken Park in Copenhagen in beautiful weather, excited for the opportunity to proudly display their Yiddishkeit in public.
The crowd gathered around a bonfire, enjoying a delicious barbeque with burgers, shish kebab, hot dogs and schnitzel.
Young and old enjoyed face painting, a high jump, jumping castles, helium balloons and treats.
A highlight of the event was a large sign of the Kosel wall, where a line of men formed for the chance to put on teffilin.
Many thanks are due to S. Morosov, DL Fogelman and S. Friedman of Milan Seminary, for assisting with the event.
