ChabadAid Nigeria’s work with local population inspires 3 non-Jewish businessmen to support a campaign to open a second Chabad house in Nigeria.
In admiration and recognition of the humanitarian aid and support provided by ChabadAid Nigeria during the CoronaVirus pandemic by providing access to new sources of pure, clean water and education to Nigerian children, 3 prominent non-Jewish local businessmen to come forward and donate to the charidy campaign to open the new Chabad House in Lagos, the business capital of Nigeria.
The new Nigerian Chabad house was just recently founded during the height of the pandemic by Rabbi Mendy and Mazal Sternbach. Just as the world was shutting down, from airports to restaurants, cultural centers to synagogues, Chabad of Nigeria took the initiative to expand their successful activities to a whole new scale by opening a second branch in the city of Lagos, the largest city in Africa.
The Sternbach’s primary focus is to move into a building for the second Chabad Nigeria Preschool and Hebrew school to service the children studying during the day in the American and French schools.
