Chabad Chassidim from Israel and across the world, including Rabbis, Mashpim and Shluchim, are now preparing towards their trip to the Rebbe’s father’s holy resting place, the Divine Kabbalist Reb Levi Yitzchak Schneersohn, in honor of his Yahrzeit on Chof Menachem Av.
This year, for the first time, guests will be provided with a place for sleeping, eating and additional needs – at a nominal cost only, thanks to a generous donation by philanthropist R’ Avi Shaulson, who devotes his time and energy to Reb Levik events.
The program for the guests will take place for two days: On Tuesday the eve of Chof Av and on Wednesday Chof Av – the day of the Yahrzeit (Hillula). On Tuesday there will be davening, classes and farbrengens. On Wednesday there will be Chassidus classes, davening, entering the Ohel, the General Pan, classes in the teachings of the Ba’al HaHillulah, first screening of a newly released video from the Rebbe and launching of the new edition of “The Chronicles of Reb Levi Yitzchak” books. The trip will conclude at the Central Farbrengen in the Ramada-Almaty Hotel Events Center.
The climax of the occasion will be during the general Pan and the central Farbrengen, attended by distinguished Mashpim, Rabbis and Shluchim.
Those who plan to come to Ohel are asked to register in advance at a special internet site established for this purpose: chofav.com
During the entire 24 hours, the Ohel will be open to the general public, there will be everything needed available to write Panim etc. in the Ohel compound. In addition, shuttle buses will depart from the hotel to the Ohel, and from the airport to the hotel and Ohel and back.
The programs, classes, Farbrengens, meals and the central Farbreingen will take place in the hotel’s campus. Mincha and Ma’ariv services will also be held near the Ohel.
