Prince William, second in line to the British throne, visited the Kotel in Jerusalem on Thursday.
On the last day of a three-day tour, William visited his great-grandmother’s gravesite, and then proceeded on to the Western Wall, where he said a prayer at one of Judaism’s holiest sites.
Prince William was received at the Western Wall plaza by the rabbi of the Western Wall and the holy sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch, Chief Rabbi of Great Britain, Rabbi Efraim Mirvis, and the Director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Mordechai (Soli) Eliav.
Prince William and Rabbi Rabinovitch recited Tehillim Chapter 122.
Later, the Prince placed a note in the Western Wall and said a prayer.
During the visit, the Prince first heard that Jews in England also pray in the direction of Jerusalem. He also met with families from his country who were celebrating a Bar Mitzvah at the Western Wall.
Prince William wrote in the guest book of the Western Wall: “May the God of peace bless this region and all the world with peace.”
The Prince was awarded the Western Wall Tunnels album with a special dedication in a unique leather case with an engraving of an ancient engraving of the Western Wall.
Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, the rabbi of the Western Wall and Holy Sites, said: “We were delighted to host today the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, at the heart of Jewish history, in a place that is enveloped in a special holiness with a deep connection of 3,000 years to the Jewish people. The Prince’s visit attests to his understanding of the deep connection of the Jewish people to this holy place and to the friendship between the two countries.”
Prince William’s visit in Israel is part of a historic Middle East tour, marking the first official visit to the Holy Land by a member of the British royal family.
Nice to see the prince by the kotel.
The future king of England will need all the blessings and help he can get for the way things are going…in the UK, May the merit of his great grandmother who risked her life for Jews stand him in good stead!

The Russian religious organization maintaining the great grandmother’s tomb are not-Jewish to clarify this better
I _have_ done my research; you can find in my comment #11 the maternal line of Diana several generations back, to long before the Rothschilds became famous. You keep on bleating “Google it” and “do your research,” without presenting so much as a shred of said “research.” So cut the crackpottery, please.
Google it! Princess Diana WAS Jewish – believe it or not. Her mother was a Rothschild and Rothschild exists till today. Just because the women intermarry DOESN’T make their cHildren a non jew. Do your research!
Seems like you didn’t do your research. Google it! Princess Diana WAS Jewish – if you like it or not. Her mother was a Rothschild.
as to believe these obvious nazi fantasies about how everyone in any position of power or eminence is secretly Jewish? No, there are *no* known Jews in the ancestry of *any* member of the royal family. Not Diana, not Catherine, not Meghan, *nobody*. They’re all pureblood goyim, going back as far as there are records. Nor are Donald Trump or Sarah Palin Jewish, and nor was FDR. All these fantasies come from the same place: antisemitism.
With a bigger yarmulka he can cover up that bald spot
grandmother Princess Alice’s tomb ( on the Mt. of Olives, maintained by the Russian religious organization there) as well. Spoke diplomatically at all places.
You really don’t know what you’re talking about. The Roche family has nothing to do with the Rothschilds; they’re an Irish family, traceable by that name at least back to the late 16th century, long before the Rothschilds gained any prominence.
Prince William’s mother, Princess Diana, had a Jewish mother (Frances Ruth Burke Roche; a Rothschild) and she likely had a Jewish father (though his lineage would be irrelevant under Jewish law). That would make William – Jewish. ( google it and PLEASE do your research )
Never heard that Diana was Jewish.
It may be “well-known,” but it’s not a fact and is not true. Diana’s mother was Frances Shand Kydd (nee Frances Ruth Roche), whose mother was Ruth Roche (nee Ruth Sylvia Gill), whose mother was Ruth Littlejohn, whose mother was Jane Crombie, whose mother was Katharine Scott Forbes, whose mother was Eliza Kewark. Not a Jew in the bunch.
officers ymach shmo, its historical fact with pictures. Google it
Do your research but it’s true – prince William AND princess kate ARE jewish.
Well apparently there’s speculation that Kate is from Jewish descent from her mother’s side. So BH Kate and William married Jewish;)
You know im english and im jewish. What a liad of garbage you are saying that diana was jewish. It seems to me that whenever a gentil does some good irs alwsys torn to shreds.
Very ignorant.

There are British people who are Jewish, no?
Prince William’s great grandmother was a righteous amongst the gentiles – she saved some Jewish people during the second world war. She had a terrible and difficult life and her most fervent wish was to be buried in Israel. She was the mother of Prince Phillip, the Queen’s husband.
It’s a well-known fact that Princess Diana’s mother was Jewish. However according to the queen England’s policy is to follow the father’s side for religion.
Gosh no he’s not. There was a theory some time back. But no he’s not. He’s a direct descendant of German blood on his fathers side. Politely to say I would very surprised to hear that Princess Diana (his mother) was Jewish. Interesting to note – he is the first Royal to visit Israel primarily going to his great grandmothers grave site. His Father was planning a visit, I believe last year. But, at the last minute it was canceled. Furthermore. In his itinerary from Buckingham Palace. It doesn’t mention Israel as an official State, Rather “occupied territory”. Shows you… Read more »
