Shiloh Winery in the Binyamin region hosted a historic visit this week. It welcomed a high-level delegation of American and Israeli dignitaries to its visitor center, deepening the connection between the Jewish homeland and international leadership.
Among the prominent guests were Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson, U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee and his daughter Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
They were joined by Binyamin Regional Council Governor and YESHA Council Chairman Yisrael Ganz, U.S.-Israel Education Association (USIEA) President Heather Johnston, and a delegation of U.S. Congress members.
The visit carried significant diplomatic, historical, and symbolic meaning. Shiloh—once the capital of the Israelite nation in Joshua bin Nun’s time—served as a poignant setting for affirming the enduring bond between the Jewish people and their ancestral land.
“We are especially grateful to Ambassador Mike Huckabee and Speaker Mike Johnson for their clear and steadfast support of the Jewish people’s rightful presence in Judea and Samaria,” said Amichai Lourie, Head Winemaker of Shiloh Winery.
Lourie emphasized Shiloh Winery’s mission to produce wines rooted in the soil and spirit of Judea and Samaria, aiming to share this heritage with people worldwide.
Speaker Johnson, who became the highest-ranking U.S. official to visit Judea and Samaria in an official capacity, shared moving words during the visit:
“It is a tremendous honor for me to be the highest-ranking American official to ever visit Judea and Samaria in an official capacity. This region represents the frontline of the State of Israel. The Bible teaches that the hills of Judea and Samaria were promised to the Jewish people, and they are yours by right. The world may not always see it that way—but we do.”
