Roving Rabbis Meir Wayden and Berel Grunblatt spent the last days of their summer in the Hudson Valley in the New York state.
Visiting Jewish residents in their homes and helping out community members has garnered highly enthusiastic responses from all over the Valley.
“Everyone was thoroughly impressed with their social and rabbinical skills,” said Shliach Rabbi Hanoch Hecht who coordinated the visitation with Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch.
“People were thrilled with their ability to bring Judaism to towns that are too small for their own Chabad House or Synagogue,” added Hecht, Director of the Rhinebeck Jewish Center and Chabad Dutchess in Poughkeepsie.
“They were truly a breath of fresh air and everyone was sad to see them leave. The Hudson Valley truly thanks the Roving Rabbi’s for enriching the summer of its residents with Judaism and positivity.”
