Teachers have been working hard all year, and with summer vacation upon us, Mr. Yosef Yitzchok Popack wants to say thank you. With the Chabad Chinuch Convention and Retreat coming up for Mechanchos, there is no better opportunity to treat teachers to a well deserved break.
The Kinus Mechanchos Chabad, taking place on July 30-31 / ח”י – י”ט מנחם אב, will provide Mechanchos with two days of inspiration and empowerment, all in the comfort of the Huntington Hilton with catered meals, private swimming and luxurious accomodations.
Professional development workshops will include tracks catering to every grade level from preK-12, including: practical sessions on dealing with challenging students and keeping every student engaged, subject specific deep dives into Chumash and other topics, and therapists in various fields discussing students’ needs in the classroom. Panel discussions and networking sessions will address means for communicating our Chassidishe values, and ensuring that “no child is left behind.”
Throughout the two days, the Kinus committee is planning to address teachers’ Ruchnius and Gashmius needs, with Rabbi Shais Taub delving into the Rebbe’s mission statement for Chinuch in our times, Mrs. Gitty Rosenfeld sharing her personal, Torah-based, inspiration for Chinuch, farbrengens on various topics tailored to Mechanchos, and sessions for teachers to enjoy hands-on, creative activities. The Chinuch Banquet will honor Mechanchos, and feature original music by Mechaneches Mrs. Clara Chaya Epstein.
With a leading gift from Mr. Popack, the registration fee for the Kinus is now reduced to just $99 per teacher for the complete convention, for 100 teachers who register during the last week of school, June 15-22 / 1-9 Tammuz. Any Chabad teacher or school leader, teaching any subject (Limudei Kodesh or general studies) to any grade is invited to join! The grant will apply to the first 100 teachers who register using this code, and is only for those registering for the full, two day program. Simply use the code YPgift50 when you register at www.ChinuchConvention.org.
Thank you so much for making this amazing convention more available to our teachers. We are fortunate to have both Mr Popack and the MEF . Thanks so much
I’m not sure if you are actually a teacher, if you are you should really be a living example to your students, starting with Hakoras Hatov.
A nice Jew wants to sponsor a beautiful 2 day program for teachers to rejuvenate, what are you complaining?!
Thank you Mr. Popack for your amazing work! May Hashem grant you with continued success in all your endeavors!
