While there is much ado about Mivztoim, public candlelighting and the like over the holiday of Chanukah, there is one man who did not forget the unique message of Chanukah, which is Chinuch – that young kinderlach should learn and live Torah.
Mr. Yosef Yitzchok and his wife Batsheva Popack again this year showed, and increased their support and appreciation for, the hard work the teachers and Morahs do in Oholei Torah, and gave each one a generous gift for Chanuka.
This has become a tradition, and Educational Institute Oholei Torah is proud to be the recipient of the philanthropic chessed of Yoseph Yitzchok and Batsheva Popack.
Many ongoing building projects have been sponsored by Mr. Popack to enhance the Eastern Parkway campus, and more recently Mr. and Mrs. Popack pledged to renovate the gymnasium.
The staff of the Yeshiva wish to thank Mr. and Mrs. Popack for their ongoing friendship, and are happy to share the nachas of the 1,850 talmidim k”ah, who are learning in the Rebbe’s yeshiva.
it would be very wonderful if the recognition would go also to the Rebbe’s girls school ….The buildings, specially the one on crown st, is in dire need of repairs and the teachers are owed months of salaries…
Chanuka sameach
thank you! i also have 2 boys in oholei torah, both have amazing Rebbis and principals who are so dedicated!
a rebby ” someone thinking of us”
They should be blessed with all good. As an out of town teacher this is a beautiful thing to see. Oholei Torah is very lucky to have such a fine family supporting them!
A freilichen chanukah!
As an OT parent, with 2 very happy boys in the yeshiva who have outstanding rebbi’s, I appreciate this gift to the morahs and teachers, the money couldn’t have gone to anyone more deserving.
It’s wonderful they are very generous to these dedicated teachers.
What a thoughtful couple.
