The Ahavas Chesed Center in Crown Heights has recently been updated thanks to a generous donation by businessman Yossi Popack and his wife Batsheva.
The Ahavas Chesed Center, located at 271 Kingston Avenue, was opened 2 years ago by Rabbi Avraham Leider, in order to provide a place for a hot full meal for those in need.
Open every evening between 5:30 – 7:30 pm, the restaurant style storefront location has recently been revamped and renovated as a place where anyone can enjoy a meal and socialize.
“Thanks to the generous support of Yossi and Batsheva Popack, we can continue our work to serve the community,” said Rabbi Lieder, director of Ahavas Chesed.
Lieder invites community members to stop by for a meal and pay what they can to assist the Chesed Center in their important work.
