We want Moshiach… everywhere.
Residents of the Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn woke up on Friday morning to find numerous white stickers stuck on public and private property.
It appears that the square stickers were tagged over Thursday night on traffic lights, street poles, and even on storefronts.
They carry messages in both Hebrew and English about the coming of Moshiach, the slogan “Yechi” and some quotes from the Rebbe’s Sichos.
Crown Heights is currently hosting many Chassidim and Bochurim who traveled to New York for Gimmel Tammuz, yartzeit of the Rebbe. Some of the stickers read, the Rebbe “is alive and well.”
An official at the 71st Precinct of the New York Police Department said: “It’s considered graffiti and is a crime. We are looking into it.”

Just another thing to make here uglier . If you see it . Peel it off . We deserve to live nice
They are very strong stickers dont come off entirely, maybe can take off the wording, but sticky part does NOT come off.
It’s designed to remove that sticky goo from such labels.
Try WD40!
if you usew wd 40 its considered vandalism
Beautiful and inspiring, thank the organizers for this uplifting message and Awakening that Moshiach is imminent.
but,dina,de,malchuta
Your comments are passable at best. The bigger issue is the grave CHILLUL HASHEM that these stickers have made.
This is NOT what the Rebbe Mech Hamoshiach wants.
I saw them doing it. They are a bunch of minors with no parental accountability. Or because his father is in jail or luke the others, where there parents have no control over them.
Like the guys on the 770 roof putti g up a flag at 6 in the morning.
THEY ARE DOUNG A DISSERVICE TO THE REBBE MELECH HAMOSHIACH WISHES.
You call chilul hashem beautiful?
You call people causing embarrassment to Lubavitch beautiful?
What I see is a bunch of leidikers that have nothing better to do with their lives tryout to impose their radical views on everyone.
If it was really about sincere will to bring moshiach then why specifically when guests are coming for Gimmel Tammuz? And why not do something which the rebbe actually said to do unlike putting up stickers and causing בושעס.
Hopefully people responsible will be held accountable
violation,of,dina,de,malchuta,is,also,chilul,
Putting stickers over crosswalk signs isn’t super smart, especially when the stickers promote avoda zara.
Please don’t call it avoda Zara.
To say the Rebbe is alive, even if you don’t agree, is not making him G.d ch”v.
There’s no connection between being G-d and not passing away like all others. Eliahu Hanavi wan’t g-d and he didnt pass away…
Learning about this topic with the proper guidance will help you understand that there is a huge difference!
It’s a sakana they they covered the walk signs !!! Please peel one off if we all do it then it will be gone . All we need is for a child to not see the signs
If your intention is defending and representing the Rebbe then you’ve got your facts mess up.
No one can deny that the Rebbe wouldn’t support such graffiti and chilul Hashem. Clearly the wrong way to go about things.
Say yechi? Go ahead. But this is too far..makes me question your whole movement.
Suspect last seen at 770. Wears a hat and jacket, with a gold pin on the collar. Goes by Mendel. Good luck finding him!
really gave the whole thing a funny spin
I think I spotted him too ;p in ess and bench ;p
I don’t understand why Crown Heights is being defaced. Flags and banners strung over Kingston Avenue, stickers and signs everywhere. What are they trying to accomplish? We all want Moshiach. But this is a blight on our shechunah. Whoever blankets the town with this stuff does not have ahavas Yisroel. They are being selfish and don’t care about the property of others or how Crown Heights looks. This is not about Kedusha, the Rebbe, or Yechi. This is some people saying “I’ll do whatever I want because my people are better than yours”. Please stop.
sick people who needs medical care urgently.
because I suspect they mean well
During the “Le’alter Lis’shuva Le’alter Lig’ula” campaign the Rebbe himself was seen putting up stickers around Crown Heights.
But putting them on traffic lights and on private property is a bit much.
But rather on the trains.
Same point anyways
I’ve heard this, but never seen proof for this, is there a reliable source? Also did stickers exist in the 40s?
Really this is what chas vshalom a yid is going to the government for? B”H “tagging” these stickers is what some yid is putting his effort into IE following a directive to announce MOSHIACH… while others are watching Netflix or complaining about whatever. Ok “resident “ comment 1- if you didn’t notice Brooklyn is ugly! And yes you deserve better so think about moving to “ prettier area” And the person that said they “hope whom did this is held accountable “… me too i hope MHM gives him / her a special merit, if you in your heart want… Read more »
Once you learned all of the rebbes teachings which fyi is way over 100 seforim, once you watched all the videos the rebbe. Thousands of hours worth of it. Once you learned about every single yechidus also thousands of hours worth. Come back and say this is what the rebbe wants. You can’t.
And who are YOU to know what the Rebbe doesn’t want?
The Rebbe clearly states many time to PUBLICIZE the arrival of Moshiach…. thats all i was trying to say so sorry if i personally offended your beliefs
LOOK I LOVE YOU JEW!!! We are one!
Good Shabbos
That this is not from a Meshichist, but from a trouble-maker.
Most kids in ny are doing much worse at least this is a machloiches for kedusha.
Good Shabbos and much ahavas Yisroel
Wow, I am so happy to see people taking the rebbe’s words “beofen hamiskabel” so literally. I am certain that by putting stickers all over, wherever you look, it will inspire and uplift every person that passes by to follow in the rebbe’s ways. Shkoyach!
Just like everything in the modern world has a shock factor….. perhsps this will at ybe very least plant a seed in in ones mind that MOSHIACH is here and as the Rebbe says “its up to you”
Many brachos with love all in ways of revealed good!
Tovel v”sheretz b”yodo. Damaging someone else’s or public property?
I saw these stickers before collive posted about it. And I did my part by removing them wherever I went. May ppl follow in my ways.
👍 for the inspiring message and thoughtfulness of it! (Maybe not on the stop sign though)
NYPD must put their top people on this. It cannot go unpunished. This is the utmost priority in Crown Heights.
Seriously? Let them start fighting real crime in our neighborhood.
And the Jews that are pushing police and giving them something else to do other than deal with the daily harassment, porch thieves, etc. in our community should get a life.
Run for mayor wise Chossid
Wow this should be our biggest problem. I guess it gives them something to do while they ignore the serious crimes against our neighborhood.
Please do your part and REMOVE them .1- it’s a sakana covering crosswalks . 2- it’s graffiti making here look ugly . Please remove as you walk
This is hilarious.
for real
Yasher Koach chossid
Big chillul hashem. When my children have to cross the streets and that can see if its walk or don’t walk dangerous aswell
With acts of goodness snd kindness
SHABAT SHALOM
1. deal with crime in the heights
2. deal with papers
Let’s show some love, there’s enough negative happening, we have bigger crimes for the police to go after.
Some kids that mean well and are tagging up a neighborhood, kids do this in so many cities around the world to promote bands, brand and sometimes gangs.
Thank gd our kids are doing this for Moshiach.
reb yoiel shlito said that the whole yechi buisness pushes away the geulah this is so insane it doesnt exist anywhere else 770 looks like a circus or camp in middle of colorwar with signs etc its supoosed to be a shul where we daven to hashem and not focus on imaginary scenes bordering on kefira whewre are all the rabonim?
All anash know that the Rebbe is Moshiach,no matter what your Hashkafa is. The expression of this belief should not break any civil laws of the land, however. Then it becomes a problem. The expression of “Yechi…” is
a personal choice which should be done in a lawful forum, whether in 770,in another Shul,at home, etc. But not to deface public property nor to damage to private property without permission
All anash says who?? speak for yourself, im anash im in shilchus and i dont believe that.
The police are making this a priority?? What abt the killings and anti-semitism?
Seriously? The amount of graffiti around and police don’t lift a finger. Suddenly moshiach and they’re all up in arms. Get a life.
Exactly!
Yes this is absolutely abominable that this is what the police are so into but hey they have a good point and they only mean well. lets respect everyone. some people have such a connection with the Rebbe and that’s fine. we don’t all have to agree with everything everyone does and thinks. Can we all just live??!!
Ill vote u in too wise chossid!
He knows how to grab attention ,and by the way good job ,I like your message and creativity and as a out of town shliach I can tell you the youth also like it ,my only advice for next time is continue just please no point what so ever of putting it on traffic lights.
Just one thing I dont understand the whole point is to read the stickers !if there so high on traffic lights who can read them?however I like what is written on the stickers they are mostly from the rebbes sichos
I’d say it’s illegal and graffiti, regardless of whether its context is accurate. And there’s go to be cameras recording some the illegal activity. And since I don’t see any pictures of the stickers on private property, and just on public property, the nuisance is a legality issue for the police to address, and inherently not too high on my radar for care. But, like the broken windows theory about crime, I think the perpetrators should be held accountable, simply to not allow such brazeness go unchecked, lest they believe further and worse illegalities are also ok in the name… Read more »
I don`t with putting stickers on traffic lights but whats the issue elsewhere the messages are great, its way better than the regular graffiti we get in crown heights , And interesting only chasidishe ✌️graffiti ✌️ is investigated . Crime is up like crazy , and time & money is spent such narish.
