We are all one family, there is a simple thing we can do, call their consulate, and complain to them.

Let the Russians conquer them. These Ukrainians are the worst antisemites, much worse than the Russians. It’s shame that Yiddin are still there.

Their president is Jewish

So is their prime minister. It’s the only country outside of Israel where this is the case.

Actually agree. I get why people might want to travel to these special places or holocaust sites but I could never bring myself to support their economy. They are still making money off of our blood.

Don’t let the misnaged post above put you off

Don’t know the particulars, of this case. There are many visitors who do not how to behave and it couses major chilul hashem.

Bare in mind that 70% percent of Ukrainians voted for a Jewish president.

What! So you beat people up like a wild animal, because they don’t behave themselves.
Whose side are you on anyway, what’s wrong with our own people.

Respect your hosts and neighbors
January 12, 2020 1:38 pm

I’m sure locals got tired of their streets being taken over and their lives being totally altered. You should see local news and reports – it’s reprehensible how locals are being pushed around. A bit of humility and consideration toward locals would have gone a long way. But there is none of that there. Respect your hosts and neighbors and they will respect you back.

Those who are hinting that Yidden somehow deserved this need to have two thingss in mind. One,the extreme and violent antisemetic history of Ukraine and two, the hakaros hatov Ukranians should have for the tremendous amounts Jews he ng to the Ukranian economy.

Dear G-d in heaven, this is too much to bear. We want to learn Your reason for this; ad mosai?! Please heal all the injured, give them a refuah sheleima b’karov, and protect Your children from all danger and harm. Let all the world know and fear and serve You, and let this chaos be no more!

White trash, Y”Sh, in the Ukraine.

we havent even recovered
January 13, 2020 10:23 am

As we are nearing the end of holocaust survivors it is starting all over again. Why? We’ve only increased in our mitzvas, we’ve brought light to the farthest corners of the earth, why is Hashem putting us through this again! We have not even properly healed or recovered from the last time.

My heart hurts for my children, not knowing what the future will bring, or actually knowing what the future brings since the only thing Jewish History has taught us is that it will always be repeated.

When will it be enough?

One sure answer...

Was anyone mortally wounded? Also, do we have any names of those injured, for mishabeirach or Tehillim prayers?

I understand the word ‘Kloiz’ is the name of the synagogue, but what does the word ‘tziun’ mean? Does it mean ‘courtyard/area? Is it a Jewish word or Ukrainian word?

Will not be another Holocaust - said by the Rebbe
January 13, 2020 11:45 am

The Rebbe, ZY”A, was quoted as saying that something like the Holocaust
will not happen again. This does not negate sporadic casualties or murders from the likes of terrorism, lynchings, pogroms, etc.
But, something on such a massive scale like the Holocaust; this will
not be. Now think a moment.

Think a moment says:

I guess I did not finish. So, it’s like this: Imagine that you are the PM of Israel. What would YOU do if, CH”V, any country will start-up like that again or condone such a massive attempt? I know what I would do? The world should worry if not be outright frightened!

Right before Obama got elected, an African on the subway asked me, “What would happen if America stopped supporting Israel?” His answer was this: “America cannot stop supporting Israel because if they did, you would have WW3, and nobody wants that.”
