With thousands of yidden flocking to the Poconos to enjoy their midwinter break, Mikvah Rochel Leah hosted their 2nd annual concert with the aim of covering some of the operating expenses the mikvah racks up throughout the year.
With SING Entertainment behind the production, Sunday’s show brought with it so many highlights and special moments, with the crowd rocking from the very first minute of music.
Benny Friedman brought the crowd to their feet with an electrifying performance filled with many of his hits both old and new. To mark the international Siyum Harambam for both cycles of daily halacha study, Benny sang a special dedication of “Uveoso Hazman” off his latest album, his first time singing it live.
Then it was Moshe Tischler who joined Benny on stage, proceeding to dazzle the audience with his signature energy and vocal range. He even treated the audience to a sneak-preview of “Yogati” off his upcoming album that is in its final stages.
Many will remember the viral clip of Avraham Fried singing together with beloved father and shliach Rabbi Levi Wolosow at last year’s concert, who suddenly passed away a mere 12 hours later. Avraham Fried returned to the Poconos Sunday for a special dedication in memory of Rabbi Levi.
There wasn’t a dry eye when Wolosow’s sons joined Fried on stage for a performance of that very same “K’Ayol” that their father sang just one year prior.
The show was directed by Chaim Zippel, with Gershon Freishtat leading the band.
Even with all the fun happening on stage, the performers reminded the crowd about the real purpose behind the evening. Ensuring that the Mikvah in the Poconos can cover its expenses, and be able to continue serving the hundreds of tourists and locals it services each year.
The Charidy campaign is still a few thousand dollars short of its $50,000 goal. If you want to help fund taharas hamishpacha in the Pocono Mountains, you can contribute at charidy.com/poconomikvah.

Yasher Koach!!
The concert was amazing, uplifting. Really Grand.
The most emotional part was the performance in honor of Rabbi Levi Wolosow.
May his family be comforted. May his Neshama have an Aliya.
Please help The Mikvah Of The Pocono Mountains.
