Oholei Torah School holds a school-wide Pirkei Avos project. Every week the boys are challenged to learn that week’s Pirkei Avos with and without meforshim, and 60 Ma’amorei Chazal from Pirkei Avos which the talmidim learn by heart. They then take a weekly test on the material.
On Wednesday and Thursday, grand finale Chidon events were held for each grade of Oholei Torah, where the top mark-getters in each grade battled it out with questions on the material they learned the past few months.
Each boy who received over an 80% on the tests received a prize, and the top two from each grade were finalists in the Chidon.
On Wednesday, the Chidon events for grades 3, 4, and 5 were led by Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig, Principal.
Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig stressed that each talmid is a winner, for completing a year in yeshiva and all that they accomplished.
