Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin and his family took a trip with Saadia Hershkop deep into Chevron to the gravesite of the founder/renewer of Chevron, Rebbetzin Menucha Rochel Slonim-Schneerson (1798-1888).
She was the daughter of the Rebbe DovBer, the Mitteler Rebbe, who sent her there to revive the ancient holy city.

It’s deep in Chevron. Trust me, I lived there for years and as a close friend of the community and of Danny Cohen I’ve seen the incredible hard work and mesiras nefesh. It can look normal at times but the situation can escalate very fast. The army has soldiers in a guard tower and there are cameras etc but there were some very rough years. Danny Cohen, Menachem Porter, mordy hellinger, itzik neymark, saadiya hershkop etc.. you guys do great work and make me proud.
