How on earth is spending money and schlepping coffee and cake from doylestown, PA to Morristown and thinking of how to help Bochurim learn considered some of conspiracy and extreme tactic?! As one Godol BiYisroel once put it about someone who was causing him Tzoros: “what does he have against me?! I don’t remember doing him any favors…” VD”L.

a bit extreem but lubavich needs coffe

Thank you Dr./Mrs. Greenberg/Ebert for the delicious cakes you baked to go with the coffee. We heard you learned how to bake a special cake in Chicago while you were there.

Where in PA does he live? How far from Motown?

Go Eli!!

@(: I came to Chicago the last year the Simchas Beis HaShevoh was on his street. It was the Rebbe’s ratzon in Chicago. Few people remember the tzoris he endured in order to stage it.(and the chutzpa for a mitzva he used to carry it off!). Thanks Eli, you deserve all the nachas you get!

When the Rebbe said az men zohl tansen in di gassen on sukkos, Rabbi ebert invited his whole community to his home and put a tape recorder and amp on his porch and blasted niggunim into the streets. The police would come ten times to try to end it but without success. Eventually that event became annual and outgrew his street and now it is done by Rabbi Hertz with thousands of people in the street in fon of the main shul. Rabbi Ebert is the man.

hum....

So… was it taken away or just casually walked off on its own?

Truth and justice

Way to go r Ebert. You bring justice where it is due. Your reputation from your activist days in Chicago Concerning mihu yehudye and the acknowledgement as a try soldier of the rebbi. Keep bringing that coffee! We feel supported!!!

Thank you!

We the Smicha Bochurim in Morristown would like to thank Rabbi Ebert for this generous gift after our coffee machine disappeared. Rabbi Ebert is a Yid who sits and learns, and also someone who truly cares about all matters of Yiddishkeit, The Rebbe’s Kovod, justice etc. And now we see that he is also soma real Ish HaChesed who is concerned when. Yeshiva. Bochurim are missing such seemingly small things as coffee and does something about it! THANK YOU!

Which Yeshiva???
May 1, 2012 1:52 pm

what city??

Reb Elchonon!
May 1, 2012 1:50 pm

Reb Elchonon lives in PA, but still comes to Morristown almost every day and he sits and learns Torah with Bochurim, as a matter of fact, he is a regular participant together with the Bochurim in the shiur of Rabbi Zajac for whom he has tremendous respect. He even brings his own lunch and supper so as not take from the costs of Yeshiva!

go rabbi lipsker!!!
May 1, 2012 1:22 pm

Thank you rabbi lipsker for making this possible

It's ok

The plain black coffee in the Morristown Starbucks poses no kashrus questions. Each store must be checked out and judged individually.

Starbucks?!
