Its a halacha it has to be a fuit tree
the rebbeh room is very holy but it is not a frut tree

That Reb Velvel, he really treats the talmidim well.He was my madrich in longbeach -summer of 1978!
His Care and Fiery love for the Rebbe has stood me well in life!
