Yossi Farro, a bochur in Yeshiva Ohr Elchanan Chabad in Los Angeles, was walking near Yeshiva during lunch doing Mivtzoim when he passed what appeared to be a movie set with over 100 people.
Farro walked up to every person asking if they were Jewish. Many were not, and those who were refused to put on Tefillin.
After walking away, Farro noticed a man a block away and asked if he was Jewish. When the man replied yes, Farro asked if he put on Tefillin yet today, to which the man replied he hadn’t.
Ferro then assisted him in putting on Tefillin. After speaking for a couple of minutes, Farro discovered this man’s name was Dave Burd. He’s an American rapper and comedian and the show was being made about him…
